Both the 2016 and the 2015 Honda Accord’s come with a direct-injects 204-liter inline four-cylinder or 3.5-liter V-6 engine. Both can be paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The 2.4 liter is available with a continuously variable transmission and an optional six-speed automatic for the V-6.
The Honda Accord has always been known for its powerful driving experience, and this is still the case. The most noticeable change is its fresh new look and features. The 2016 Honda Accord is more sophisticated and sporty. The aluminum hood features sharper lines that meet up with an expressive grille and the LED headlights. LED lights are also used for the daytime running lights and the tail lights as well as restyled front and rear bumpers. In keeping with the sporty theme, 19-inch wheels are available for the first time.
Inside there aren’t as many visible changes but the 2016 Accord. In the EX sedan and coupe, you will find an automatic transmission which includes a remote start. The 2016 Accord has a 7.0-inch touchscreen display that is compatible with Android Auto and Apple Carplay smartphones systems.
One major technological addition is the Honda Sensing suite of safety and driving assist features.
This system includes forward collision warning, land keeping assist, road departure with land departure warning, collision mitigation braking system, and adaptive cruise control. Honda Sensing is available on all models except the Accord Touring where it is standard equipment.
Inside you will find brand new fabric and color options. The Accord sedan models EX and above come with new wood-grain-style dashboard items. There is also new piano black interior trim for the Sport and the LX. The EX also has new tricot seat fabric. The new sedans have a more premium look and feel with metal foot pedals, cloth fabric with leatherette bolsters and carbon fiber-style dashboard trim. Another feature on the Honda Accord EX, EX-L, and Touring models is the addition of a power glass moonroof.
The exterior color options are available in eight exterior options. With the Honda Accord coupe, there are seven color options with the sedan as well as the new Still Night Pearl and Deep Blue Opal Metallic options. Also available is San Marino Red for the Sport model.
The 2016 Honda Accord is the perfect balance of sophistication and style. It provides that same dynamic driving experience that Honda is known for in one sleek sedan. The 2016 Honda Accord will be available sometime in the early fall.
